Data privacy

How is data protection regulated at D.A.D. Foods?

We comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

In order for us to be able to deliver your orders on www.dadfoods.ch, we need various personal data from you.

Of course, we treat this information as strictly confidential and do not pass it on to third parties. We only have to pass on your data to our partners if this is absolutely necessary for delivery (supplier, payment partner, etc.).

Data privacy

By ordering on manor.ch, you are testifying to your trust in D.A.D Foods. The trust of our customers is a key element for us. Therefore, D.A.D. Foods is committed without reservation to the security and confidentiality of your information.

The provisions of this Privacy Policy shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy of any kind between it and any other contractual terms or D.A.D. Foods’ General Terms and Conditions that may otherwise apply.

Personal data

Personal data is information, both past and future, about factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide to us during registration and when creating your customer account.

Collection, processing and use of your personal data

We collect, store and process your data for the entire processing of your purchase, including any subsequent warranties, for our services, technical administration and our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. In the context of order processing, for example, the service providers we use receive the necessary data for order and order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted.

For your order we need your correct name, address and payment data. We need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and communicate with you. We also use this for your identification (customer login). Furthermore, you will receive your order and shipping confirmation via your e-mail address.

Your personal data will be deleted if there are no legal obligations to retain it and if you have made a claim for deletion, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

Disclosure of data to third parties

We only pass on your personal data if there is a legal obligation to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims arising from the contractual relationship.

In addition, we pass on your data to third parties insofar as this is necessary in the context of the use of the website and the processing of contracts (also outside the website), namely the processing of your bookings. This includes the respective transport service provider who has been entrusted with the shipment of ordered goods. The data is passed on for the purpose of providing and maintaining the functionalities of our website. This is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f EU-DSGVO.

Disclosure of data to third parties

For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service.

Should you later no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe at any time. In addition, you can request the reactivation of the newsletter dispatch from our Service Centre at any time.

Cookies

So-called “cookies” are used on dadfoods.ch. These are small text files that are stored locally on the site visitor’s computer and thus enable recognition when visiting our website again. They are used to analyse visitor behaviour and are evaluated in order to improve and tailor our offer to suit the needs of our visitors. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognise you on your next visit. You can prevent the storage of cookies under “Settings” in your browser.

Google Ads

This website uses Google Remarketing, a service provided by Google for displaying ads on the Internet. For this purpose, information about your surfing behaviour during your visit to our website is collected in anonymised form and stored on your computer using “cookie” text files. Based on this information stored in the cookie, third-party providers, including Google, place ads on websites on the Internet. You can deactivate this use of cookies by Google.

Payment security

When you place an order or request your personal customer account data, a programme of the SSL security server encodes the information entered before forwarding it in accordance with 128-bit encryption. This corresponds to the standard used by banks for their online transactions and offers the highest level of security on the Internet to date. In the protected zones, the URL address of D.A.D Foods therefore begins with https://, where “s” means secured. For this purpose, an icon in the form of a closed padlock appears in the bottom right zone of the customer’s browser.

Saferpay is the secure e-payment solution for processing online payments over the Internet. The certified payment platform guarantees simple and secure credit and debit card payments, both for the shop operator and the cardholder.
